Our Uzbek A1 online course for beginners is aimed at anyone who wants to learn the basics of the Uzbek language. This course is suitable for travellers who want to discover Uzbekistan, professionals who want to establish business contacts, or simply language enthusiasts who are interested in the rich culture and language of Uzbekistan. The course teaches the four basic language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. The lessons are structured so that you learn the language step by step. After just a few lessons, you will be able to hold simple conversations, read short texts and write short messages yourself. Course content and learning objectives
- Build basic vocabulary: The course covers approximately 500–700 of the most frequently used words needed in everyday life, shopping, work or travel.
- Learn basic grammar: We teach present tense forms, simple negations, question forms and personal pronouns so that participants can form simple sentences correctly.
- Communication exercises: Typical everyday situations are simulated, including greetings, introductions, conversations about family, hobbies, shopping and travel.
- Writing and pronunciation: Introduction to the Uzbek alphabet, both Latin and Cyrillic variants, including correct pronunciation and intonation.
- Cultural insights: Participants learn traditional customs, polite expressions and common phrases that are customary in Uzbekistan.
